The home learning support resources are managed and created by the team at Ruislip Stars. These are created to help you to support, and challenge your child with a number of learning opportunities such as word/number recognition and problem solving, in line with the Development Matters Framework.

These are some of the children's favourite activities!
This week, the children’s focus is to further develop their fine motor skills. This morning, they were challenged to help their teacher to make a box full of holes, which they’d later use to stick straws into. The children enjoyed collecting some resources such as the cardboard and bringing it to their teacher. Key words were modelled throughout.
This week, the children used our challenge time tub, which has just been replenished! The children split into three groups and each group got to pick out one of the pieces of paper from the tub, finding out what their task was going to be. These challenges are all related to specific milestones within the seven learning areas in the EYFS, so every group were supported in different ways to meet more of their learning goals.
