This year, the children visited the Polish War Memorial on Thursday the 11th November. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, parents were unable to join us.
The children enjoyed walking down to the memorial to lay down their hand-made wreath! They also had the chance to join in with the two minute silence and see the other amazing wreaths laid at the memorial.
The children at the nursery also commemorated Remembrance day by creating a poppy poster!
For Father’s Day this year, the Preschool children and some of their Dads had so much fun over the park in the sunshine playing a game of football while the Nursery children invited their Dads into the Nursery to spend some quality time with them.
On Friday the 11th of November some of our Preschool children and staff walked down to the Polish War Memorial to lay a wreath that the children had made. On Sunday the 13th of November some of our parents and staff joined us in laying a wreath while listening to the Sunday service at the Polish War Memorial. For Halloween, all of the children and the staff dressed up in their favourite Halloween costumes and then celebrated with all the parents at the Halloween party!
The children enjoyed celebrating World Book Day by coming in dressed as their favourite story characters. For Christmas Jumper day all of the staff and some of the children enjoyed coming to Preschool/ Nursery in their festive Christmas jumpers!
Our children had a visit from two ponies at school. This was a first for many of our students! Many smiles, lots of touching and brushing the horses.
