This year, the children visited the Polish War Memorial on Thursday the 11th November. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, parents were unable to join us.
The children enjoyed walking down to the memorial to lay down their hand-made wreath! They also had the chance to join in with the two minute silence and see the other amazing wreaths laid at the memorial.
The children at the nursery also commemorated Remembrance day by creating a poppy poster!
This year we celebrated both Red Nose Day and Mother’s Day together. We invited the Mum’s in for a stay and play while wearing red to celebrate red nose day. Donations were given and overall we raised a total of £45. Thank you to everyone that donated.
For Father’s Day this year the Preschool invited the Dad’s in for a Father’s Day morning. They enjoyed taking part in a baking competition where they had to bake chocolate chip cookies, and had lots of fun carrying out a range of fun filled activities.
This year, the children, staff and parents across all three settings enjoyed dressing up for our Halloween parties. They enjoyed some food, as well as spooky themed activities.
For Halloween this year the Preschool enjoyed having a fun filled afternoon with all of their friends, playing a range of different games such as, pin the tail on the cat, pumpkin painting, musical chairs, etc. The Nursery children invited their parents in for a party. Everyone had so much fun playing a range of different games and they even had a refreshments table with freshly cooked sandwiches, cakes, biscuits, etc.
On Friday the 11th of November some of our Preschool children and staff walked down to the Polish War Memorial to lay a wreath that the children had made. On Sunday the 13th of November some of our parents and staff joined us in laying a wreath while listening to the Sunday service at the Polish War Memorial. Thank you to all our amazing parents that joined us in this ceremony.
For Red Nose Day this year the children had a week of fun carrying out a range of different games and activities. Thank you to all of our friends and families that helped us raise money for the wonderful charity.
